Overview
WorkpaperPro is a Windows desktop application that installs directly on your firm's own computer. After purchasing a license, you'll receive a license key and a download link for the installer. WorkpaperPro never receives or stores your client's tax documents — all processing happens on your own computer, using your firm's own Anthropic Claude API key.
What You'll Need:

A Windows computer

Your own Anthropic Claude API key, obtained directly from Anthropic

Your WorkpaperPro license key, provided after purchase
Installation:

Download the WorkpaperPro installer using the link provided after purchase.

Run the installer and follow the on-screen setup wizard.

Launch WorkpaperPro and enter your license key to activate the software on this computer.

In Settings, enter your firm's Anthropic Claude API key, preparer name, and default output folder.
Using WorkpaperPro:
WorkpaperPro includes three tools: Preparer Review, Workpaper Builder, and Reviewer Completion. Point the software at a completed tax return and the client's source documents, and WorkpaperPro builds a complete, tied-out, audit-ready workpaper binder — flagging any missing or mismatched items along the way.
Licensing and Seats:
Each WorkpaperPro license activates a set number of computers, called seats, based on your subscription tier. If you need to move your license to a new computer, use the Deactivate This Machine option in Settings to free up a seat before activating on the new machine.
Managing Updates:
WorkpaperPro is updated periodically to reflect the latest Federal and State form changes. When a new version is released, simply download and run the updated installer on each licensed computer.
